Up until now, this blog site has been used for my (Jacy) class assignments in 'Creating A Life In Music'. I originally set up this blog to use as a band blog spot (obviously), but I have yet to do that. Feel free to read the previous seven posts, but you are hereby warned that it's just me blabbing about speakers that came into the class to talk about helpful music career/money advice.
Today, I got some not-so-great news. A really good friend of mine just got bade news, ontop of her already crappy situation = shitty. I got to thinking about it all and then started to evaluate my life and just got angry, sad, and disappointed. So, in order to stop feeling bad about it/myself, I googled "need good news". This is a site that is dedicated to only posting GOOD news. Yes, we do need to know all of the news happening in the world (or do we?) so we can learn from our mistakes and maybe actually be a better human race?! BUT, if you are having a bad day, week, month and are sick of all the shitty news in the world...just go to this site and read a couple stories or look at some cute pictures and it should make you feel better, if not for a while, at least long enough to make you smile :) SO enjoy. Please. I know I will. Hopefully ;)
In other Clarety Drive news...we have GOOD news!! We are headed into the studio this weekend to record our 5 song EP entitled "Take Your Best Shot" that will be released hopefully later this year!! SO please stay tuned. In the mean time, please check out our myspace as always :)
